Key Responsibilities\n

Your responsibilities as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients based on thorough assessments that consider their developmental needs and family dynamics.

• Utilizing creative interventions tailored to each client to assist them in achieving and surpassing their therapeutic goals.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies, which includes preparing session notes, treatment plans, and ongoing evaluations.

• Coordinating services effectively with families, case managers, school staff, and medical personnel to ensure comprehensive care.
\n
• Participating actively in all clinical staff meetings and training sessions to foster a collaborative team culture.

• Regularly evaluating mental health diagnoses and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current professional license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) in the state of California.
\n
• Proficiency in time-sensitive documentation processes and submission of treatment records.
\n
• Ability to model appropriate therapeutic boundaries with clients, ensuring a professional and supportive atmosphere.

• Experience working with a varied client population, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity.
\n
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience using Office 365 and electronic health record systems is required, with preference given to candidates familiar with Valant software. Additionally, having a successful track record of creating and executing treatment strategies will set you apart in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
