Commercial Litigation Attorney (Mid-Level Associate to Of Counsel)
\nCoral Gables, FL (in-office, with hybrid flexibility after full integration)
\nBoutique business litigation firm — confidential search
\nCommensurate with experience and level of entry
\nFull-Time | Direct Hire
\n \nCareer Staffing Talent has partnered with a Miami litigation boutique focused exclusively on sophisticated business litigation. The firm is open to hiring at the Mid-Level Associate, Senior Associate, Senior Counsel, or Of Counsel level, depending on experience and qualifications.
\n \nWhat You'll Be Doing
\nYou'll handle complex commercial matters from pleadings through trial preparation — business disputes, contract litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, fiduciary duty claims, real estate litigation, and banking and financial services litigation. The firm's attorneys routinely litigate against large regional and national firms, so you'll be expected to manage an active caseload independently, take and defend depositions, and argue substantive motions in court.
\n \nWhat We're Looking For
\n✔️ 5+ years handling sophisticated commercial litigation matters
\n✔️ Experience across all phases of litigation: pleadings, discovery, motion practice, hearings, mediation, and trial preparation
\n✔️ Significant deposition experience and courtroom experience arguing substantive motions
\n✔️ Excellent legal writing, grammar, and verbal communication skills
\n✔️ Strong academic and professional credentials
\n✔️ A polished, professional, client-facing presence
\n✔️ Strong analytical, strategic, and advocacy skills
\n✔️ Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required
\n \nNote : this practice is concentrated in complex commercial litigation. Candidates whose backgrounds are primarily in insurance defense are generally not a strong fit.
\n \nWhy This Opportunity Stands Out
\n \nYou'll litigate high-stakes commercial matters against major regional and national firms — the kind of work that builds a serious litigator's résumé. The firm hires at multiple levels, so your title and compensation will reflect your actual experience rather than a rigid class-year structure.
\n \nThe litigation team has a collaborative, in-person culture based in Miami. Once fully integrated, attorneys may move to a hybrid schedule of one to two remote days per week.
\n \nInterested?
\nSubmit your resume along with your salary expectations. Candidates advancing in the process should be prepared to share two to three recent writing samples demonstrating their legal writing and advocacy skills.
\n \nAll inquiries are strictly confidential. Your information will never be shared without your permission.
